gadgITERATION is a project led by a team of professors from the MFA in Design + Technology at Parsons The New School for Design (Katherine Moriwaki, Jonah Brucker-Cohen, Louisa Campbell, Joe Saavedra, Liza Stark.). The project was awarded a grant in 2012 from the Hive Digital Media Learning Fund in The New York Community Trust, and partners included The Parsons Scholars, the NYC Department of Education Office of Postsecondary Readiness, and MOUSE.

gadgITERATION is a unique program and hardware platform for novice engagement in electronic tinkering. The activities we developed allow youth to engage in computer engineering and programming through creativity, even without prior experience.
